Why bother loving at all if you cannot even love faithfully?

No matter how hard you hope he’s the right one for you, there comes a time when you slowly realize that Prince Charming isn’t so charming after all.

Rather, he’s simply charming and nothing more.

You see him staring at you, a strange expression of fascination on his face. In those eyes of mysterious depth, you see a sort of passion and.. What’s that? Longing?

And your heart beats double time. Triple time, even.

The words he speaks are like songs, music to your ears, soothing you. Seducing you.

You get to know him and you tell yourself he is ideal, that he is the man every loving and faithful woman deserves, that he is your prince on a white horse. You learn more, you yearn for him more.

And then, all of a sudden, just when you think you are about to fall in love with that perfect man… *POOF* everything just crashes down, reality sets in. You are back to square one, alone, wishing you would find that very man you’ve been looking for since you turned eighteen.

Alas, such is the tragic ending of most things.
